Jaya is my first feature documentary.

It took me nearly 9 years to complete the final vision.

“Jaya" follows the extraordinary journey of Jaya Krishnan, a Malaysian born Canadian artist. Amidst the trials of poverty, Jaya discovers solace and purpose in art, which becomes his guiding light. Through unwavering dedication and creative talent, he finds love and success on his journey.

Yet, Jaya's heart remains tethered to his homeland, leading him on an annual pilgrimage to Cambodia, where he empowers disadvantaged children through the transformative power of art. With every stroke of his brush, Jaya not only shares his artistic gifts but also imparts hope, healing, and opportunities for a brighter future.

As he navigates his own path, Jaya learns that true fulfillment lies in using his art to uplift the lives of others.
