ECHOES OF THE HUNT

There’s so much to say about this experience—the incredible access to the hunt, the lessons I learned from the Wolf Lake First Nation, and the trust we built that allowed me to participate in such an intimate way.

It was my responsibility to honour this experience with something meaningful and impactful. That’s never an easy task, especially when working alone.

In the first week of its release, the Wolf Lake First Nation secured two funding sources for their Anishinaabe Youth Cultural programming. This outcome is something I am deeply proud of.
